Exactly how projects are designed and how a student earns fees is described in the required booklet entitled Student Guide to Consultant Learning that is made available to every student both on paper and on-line. That booklet tells the students everything they need to know about how to be successful in your Consultant Learning course. 

Another required booklet entitled The 80/20 Guide for Top Quality Business Writing helps students to produce professional quality business reports, letters and memos that are in the designated form for the course.  This booklet is also sold to business executives as a self-help guide to improving their writing, but is written so that it can be understood clearly by the average high school student.

These booklets are made available to be purchased on paper in booklet form.  In addition, the materials are available in web-enabled versions on a password-protected "Student Resources" page of this website for all students whose teachers have purchased the booklets for use in their classrooms.  In addition, the High School Teacher's Guide to Consultant Learning (instructor's manual) on how to set up and operate a Consultant Learning course is available, again both on paper and as a web resource on the password-protected "Teacher Resources" page of this website.  When you purchase booklets for your classroom you will be provided with the passwords to the "Teacher Resources" and "Student Resources" web pages. 

A third booklet that must be made available for students to refer to is the Suggested Projects booklet.  Suggested Projects is prepared by the teacher and is unique to each course.  This booklet provides the students with a list of projects from which they may choose along with complete requirements for each type of project, and it describes a process by which students can design their own projects.  

A teacher trying to create a Consultant Learning course for the first time has a wealth of information and resources available on how to create projects and structure their course.  The password-protected "Teacher Resources" page of this website contains many Suggested Projects booklets from high school teachers who are currently using Consultant Learning, and upon purchase of the Student Guide and 80/20 Guide booklets you will be provided the passwords to the "Teacher Resources" and "Student Resources" web pages.
